Fortunately, Overclockers UK has just updated its X account indicating expectations of future stock. However, the estimates for availability range from three to sixteen weeks, presenting a considerable gap.

It’s not just the RTX 5090 experiencing this potential delay; for instance, the anticipated delivery for the RTX 5080 is estimated at two to six weeks, which is another significant wait from one of the UK’s leading PC hardware retailers.

Due to overwhelming demand and limited stock, all 50 Series cards sold shortly after launch, with only a restricted number of pre-orders taken.

Efforts continue to monitor where to buy the RTX 5090 and where to buy the RTX 5080, as finding available stock has proven challenging across various retailers in both the UK and the US.

Retailer Newegg indicated that its own stock of RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 cards was sold out in record time, claiming an ’eight to ten times increase’ in traffic during the launch.

So, global stock remains limited, prices are soaring, and those eager buyers who camped out for days before the launch likely ended up disappointed. At least it allowed them to meet other PC hardware enthusiasts even if they missed out.

For a light-hearted note, the longest estimate of 16 weeks could coincide with the gestation period of a pig, meaning UK buyers might experience both the arrival of piglets and their new graphics cards around the same time, assuming a mummy pig and a daddy pig are successfully involved in that timeline.
