Vtuber Ironmouse Announces Departure from Her Co-Founded Group Vshojo

Ironmouse reveals her immediate exit from Vshojo, alleging mismanagement of funds and outstanding donations.

On July 21, Twitch content creator and Vtuber Ironmouse announced her departure from Vshojo, a group she co-founded in 2020, effective immediately. In a YouTube video, she claimed that Vshojo owes her a “significant amount of money,” alongside over $500,000 in charitable contributions to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

Ironmouse began streaming in 2017. Due to her common variable immunodeficiency (CVID), which has largely isolated her, she was unable to pursue a career in opera singing. Although her real name and face are not disclosed publicly, she was inspired by Kizuna AI, the first Virtual YouTuber, to create her avatar while protecting her identity. Ironmouse has gained over 2.3 million followers on Twitch and has collaborated with other streamers, including Connor “CDawg” Colquhoun, to raise funds for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

While Ironmouse remains one of the top creators on Twitch, she is now independent after allegations arose related to fund mismanagement at Vshojo. She stated that she is owed a substantial sum for her contributions and highlighted that Vshojo had yet to pay over $500,000 in donations to the IDF.

Ironmouse expressed her wish to speak more about the issue but indicated that her legal team has advised her to let the processes unfold. Unlike other Vtuber organizations, Vshojo allows talent to retain their names, intellectual properties, and avatars, which means Ironmouse can continue her persona independently. She also encouraged her audience to donate to the IDF via Tiltify and mentioned that all ad revenue from her announcement would be redirected to charity.

Since Vshojo’s inception in November 2020, Ironmouse was one of its initial talents, joining alongside creators like Zentreya and Projekt Melody. As of her exit, Ironmouse becomes the fourth former member to leave in 2025, following Matara Kan, Geega, and co-founder Zentreya during June and July. Other Vtubers expressed their support for Ironmouse on social media.

At present, Vshojo’s active talent roster includes Vtubers such as Kson, Henya the Genius, and co-founder Projekt Melody. While Vshojo has not yet commented on Ironmouse’s exit and her allegations, the situation’s developments are awaited.
