Remedy Unveils Ambitious Update Plans for FBC: Firebreak

Despite its struggles, Remedy pledges to enhance FBC: Firebreak with a significant update slated for late September.

The co-op shooter FBC: Firebreak is facing challenges, but Remedy Entertainment remains committed to improving it. The studio has announced plans for its first “major update,” scheduled for late September, aimed at making the game more welcoming to newcomers and engaging for experienced players.

FBC: Firebreak suffered from significant balance issues and insufficient content upon release. Although immediate concerns were addressed through various patches, this upcoming update intends to tackle deeper, systemic problems.

“The weeks since launch have given us a huge amount of feedback, from you, the community, as well as reviews, and the data we are looking at,” Remedy expressed on Steam.

This update is anticipated to enhance user experience, facilitate better onboarding, and improve gameplay mechanics. Remedy has acknowledged the importance of retaining players, noting that many have left within the first hour.
