New Merchandise Celebrates PlayStation's 30th Anniversary Focusing on the PSP

The PlayStation community is thrilled about the arrival of new collectibles celebrating the PSP, as part of the ongoing 30th anniversary festivities.

PlayStation Portable fans will be excited to discover that new merchandise is launching to honor the system as part of PlayStation’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

The anniversary festivities commenced in 2024 and continue into 2025. Besides sales on games, players have received a specific theme for their PlayStation 5 systems and special editions of PlayStation products to recognize this significant milestone.

GoodSmile recently unveiled its 30th Anniversary PSP collection, including acrylic stands and keychains, which are miniature replicas of the original PSP-1000 units, available in white and black. Notably, these items feature moving acrylic pieces that resemble the controller buttons and screen icons, creating unique interactive elements called the “PSP Rattle Acrylic Stand” and “PSP Rattle Acrylic Keychain.”

Although GoodSmile has not provided specific dimensions for these items, images depict their unique designs: the stands showcase monochrome icons, while the keychains sport colorful designs. Priced at 1,760 yen (approximately $11.85 USD) for the stands and 1,320 yen (around $8.89 USD) for keychains, fans are encouraged to remain attentive for a release date as they await additional details.
