Iron Galaxy Investigates Edgy Reference in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Remake

Iron Galaxy Studios is looking into the inclusion of an edgy Guitar Hero reference in their remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 and promises to remove it despite player backlash.

Iron Galaxy Studios, known for the remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, is addressing a controversy regarding an edgy reference to Guitar Hero nestled within the game. The studio has committed to eliminating this reference following player feedback favoring its retention.

The contentious image, identified via Reddit, displayed a cheeky nod to Neversoft, the original developer of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise. Initially, this reference was perceived by some as disrespectful, suggesting a lack of appreciation for Neversoft’s contributions.

Despite the studio’s intention to show respect, Iron Galaxy announced plans to remove the image in the upcoming update, which some players have protested against. As one Redditor noted, It’s just a silly gag, no need to remove it.

Iron Galaxy’s response reflects a continued commitment to community engagement, indicating their willingness to take feedback into consideration while navigating the sentiment surrounding this playful homage.
