Minecraft Introduces the Lava Chicken Song After Beating a Chicken Jockey

Mojang has embraced the whimsicality of its film and added a catchy Lava Chicken song to the game.

Jack Black’s infectious “Lava Chicken” song, originally from A Minecraft Movie, has found its way into the game itself after many fans clamored for its inclusion. This brief tune, which has been breaking records as the shortest song to enter the Billboard’s top 100, has been incorporated into Minecraft’s latest 1.21.94 update. This version features the remix of the song that fits the game’s quirky style. To acquire this new musical item, players need to hunt down and defeat a rare chicken jockey—something that can be challenging, as they spawn randomly.

Additionally, Mojang has previously included other features influenced by the A Minecraft Movie, such as the introduction of airborne Ghasts that serve as mounts, reflecting the film’s absurd humor. As the movie itself looks set to be a milestone in gaming cinema, Mojang is evidently keen to maintain that playful spirit within the game.
