Latest Update for Oblivion Remastered Fixes Major Lore Flaw

Oblivion Remastered receives a patch that rectifies a notorious mistake with the game's lore.

Major Fix for Oblivion Remastered

The recently released patch for Oblivion Remastered addresses a long-standing issue concerning a significant lore error. Players of the game can finally rest easy knowing that the questionable design of the Dark Brotherhood’s front door has now been corrected. This door had originally depicted a scene depicting distorted lore, notably showing more children than was historically accurate.

What Changed?

  • Lore Accuracy: The door now correctly represents five children instead of seven, aligning with the lore established in the original 2006 release of Oblivion.

Many fans have been vocal about various performance issues within the game. Although the fixes for other gameplay stutters are still pending, this patch has marked a positive direction for the development team as they address even the smallest details that impact lore fidelity.

If you’re still encountering performance hiccups while navigating through Cyrodiil, your worries are acknowledged, and improvements are on the way as developers continue to work on enhancing the overall gaming experience.
