John Wick Hex Set for Removal from All Platforms

Fans have an impending deadline to purchase the officially licensed John Wick game before it's delisted on July 17.

The tactical game John Wick Hex will no longer be available for purchase starting July 17, 2025, according to its publisher, Big Fan Games. As the only licensed video game in the John Wick franchise, it features several iconic characters from the films. Developed by Bithell Games, this real-time tactical RPG was initially launched for PC and macOS in October 2019 and was subsequently made available on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2020. Players take on the role of John Wick, aiming to save Winston and Charon from the game’s new antagonist, Hex, voiced by Troy Baker, with supporting voices provided by Ian McShane and Lance Reddick.

For fans looking to acquire the game, it’s currently available on various platforms for $19.99 until its delisting. While players who have previously purchased John Wick Hex will retain access to the game, new sales will cease entirely. The reason for its removal hasn’t been disclosed. Although the game hasn’t reached the same popularity levels as the movies, it offers a unique action experience with a comic-inspired art style and an engaging storyline, though some players feel its gameplay could be improved.

Furthermore, while this delisting may come as a setback to fans, Lionsgate has indicated that a new AAA game focusing on the John Wick universe is in development, suggesting that players may soon have another opportunity to step into this thrilling world in a video game format.
