Rumored Actress for GTA 6's Lucia Role Deletes Social Media Accounts

Manni L. Perez, the rumored actress for the role of Lucia in GTA 6, has deleted her social media accounts amidst speculation about harassment from fans.

Manni L. Perez, the actress rumored to be playing Lucia in Grand Theft Auto 6, has deleted her social media accounts. Although this could be a response to the behavior of the GTA 6 fandom, this is not confirmed, with alternative explanations also being possible.

After Rockstar shared the GTA 6 reveal trailer in early December 2023, fans speculated that Perez may be the candidate for the role of Lucia because of the resemblance between the actress and the game’s co-protagonist.

Perez removed her long-time Instagram account, MannilPerez, in mid-July 2025. This decision sparked speculation that the rumored actress might have faced harassment from fans regarding her role in the game. However, reports suggested that the Instagram account displayed strange behavior shortly before its deletion, implying it may have been hacked.

According to a Twitter user, multiple “scammy stories” appeared on Perez’s account prior to its removal. It remains unclear if she intends to return to Instagram in the near future, and profiles utilizing her name on other social media platforms appear to be imposters, based on her earlier Instagram Stories.

While Perez is the most speculated candidate for Lucia, the identity of the actor for the other protagonist remains uncertain. Game Rant previously mentioned Gregory Joseph Connors as a potential candidate for the role of Jason in GTA 6, citing his claim of being cast as a lead in an undefined Rockstar Games project targeted for a 2025 release, although it was later postponed to May 2026.

Historically, Grand Theft Auto games have shied away from announcing their voice cast prior to release. The only notable exception was GTA: Vice City, which confirmed Ray Liotta as the voice of Tommy Vercetti shortly before its late October 2002 launch, as he was already a well-established actor at the time, providing clear promotional value for the project. Without similar incentives at this time, it is likely Rockstar will refrain from disclosing the main cast for GTA 6 before the game is released.
