Scopely has revealed an exciting new event for Pokemon GO, titled the Summer Concert, which is set to occur from July 19 to July 22, 2025. Players should highlight these dates in their calendars as Scopely enriches the gaming experience with special new features during this timeframe.

The Summer Concert will celebrate the music created by Junichi Masuda, the renowned composer of various iconic tracks in the Pokemon series. During this event, participants can log in to enjoy a unique collection of background music arranged by Masuda himself.

In addition, expect notable bonuses during this event, such as an extended duration for Pokemon GO’s Lure Modules (lasting 1 hour) that attract specific Pokemon. Players will also have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Chatot at PokeStops. Furthermore, various Pokemon will be drawn to PokeStops with active Lure Modules, including Jigglypuff, Lotad, Kricketot, and many more.

Moreover, an event-themed Field Research task will be available to help players find Spinda, with the possibility of discovering a shiny variant.

Additionally, Scopely has announced the upcoming debut of Dynamax Latios and Dynamax Latias during the Max Battle Weekend taking place from July 26 to 27, 2025, allowing players to engage in exciting battles against this Legendary duo.

In other news, there’s been a recent development affecting Pokemon GO as an update has rendered the game unplayable for some users on 32-bit Android devices. This change is part of the developer’s strategy to allocate resources toward newer operating systems, which comes as unfortunate news for affected players but opens up new opportunities for those on compatible devices.
