Killing Floor 3 Set for Release with Closed Beta Ahead of Launch

Tripwire Interactive announces the release date for Killing Floor 3 and offers a chance for players to participate in a closed beta before the official launch.

Get your mops ready! Killing Floor 3 is officially launching on March 25, 2025. This highly anticipated sequel from Tripwire Interactive was announced along with the release date on their X channel with the simple message: The battle begins on March 25.

Before the official release, fans have the opportunity to dive into the action early with a closed beta test commencing on February 20 and lasting until February 24. Sign-ups for the beta can be done on the Killing Floor 3 website.

To accompany this announcement, Tripwire has shared an exciting new trailer, which showcases some intriguing gameplay elements, including a cool new weapon—the forearm-mounted grenade launcher, which promises to enhance the combat experience.

Furthermore, the trailer introduces some of the game’s monstrous zeds, including a bizarre hotdog creature with a mouth full of teeth that surprises players right at the end.

Killing Floor 3 promises to deliver a less chaotic experience than its predecessors, while still offering a diverse range of enemies and more tactical challenges. Returning features include the beloved fireball-hurling mecha zombies, now equipped with jetpacks, and improved gore mechanics that allow players to dismember enemies in a variety of ways.

With titles like Doom: The Dark Ages slated for release later in 2025, this year is shaping up to be memorable for fans of first-person shooters.
