A recent Call of Duty: Warzone update has just been released for July 2025, bringing significant updates to the battle royale experience. The patch includes various bug fixes while focusing heavily on weapon balancing.
Several weapons have been adjusted, including the AMES 85 and GPR 91, which are expected to influence how matches are played. The update coincided with the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded launch on July 2, which added new content and gameplay adjustments. One highlight was the Beavis & Butt-Head event that allows players to earn XP across Multiplayer or Zombies, with themed rewards available.
With this patch, improvements to long-range firefights have been introduced, alongside adjustments to weapons’ visual recoil. Significant changes have been made to a few assault rifles to enhance their effectiveness. Notably, the AMES 85’s damage range has been increased, while the GPR 91 now features improved stats. However, some weapons, like the KRIG C and DM-10 Marksman Rifle, received reduced damage multipliers as part of the balancing changes.
In addition to weapon adjustments, the update resolved numerous bugs and addressed issues that had affected gameplay, including pre-match lobby crashes and user interface inconsistencies. Players can expect a more refined experience in Havoc Royale mode and Ranked Play: Resurgence with the latest changes.
