Upcoming Event Quests for Monster Hunter Wilds Announced

Capcom has detailed new limited-time events for Monster Hunter Wilds, offering exclusive rewards for participants.

Upcoming Event Quests for Monster Hunter Wilds

Two new events are set to launch in Monster Hunter Wilds, providing limited-time rewards for players who take part. Released earlier this year, Monster Hunter Wilds has quickly established itself within the renowned MH franchise, introducing significant quality-of-life enhancements to the classic monster hunting gameplay. Following the trends initiated by MH: World, Wilds is the most accessible Monster Hunter game yet, featuring an auto-targeting Focus mode that makes hunts easier than ever.

Since its debut, Monster Hunter Wilds has received two free Title Updates, which included long-requested features like Layered Weapons, new monsters, fresh outfits, and additional game modes. Weekly, players can expect three to four new limited-time events within the MH Wilds cycle to acquire exclusive prizes. The live-service nature of the game allows Capcom to routinely rotate these events while introducing new ones to keep the gameplay fresh.

In a recent tweet, the official Monster Hunter account shared details about two upcoming limited-time events for MH Wilds, scheduled from July 8 to July 22. The first, a 6-star Event Quest titled An Inferno Laid Bare, will require players to hunt a Nu Udra at HR 31 or higher. Successful hunters will be rewarded with crafting materials for the Pinion Necklace α, a chest armor for Hunters, and the Felyne Bell Collar α, a new Palico armor piece. The second event, a 5-star Challenge Quest named Fleeting Bubbles, will task players with taking down a Mizutsune at HR 21 or higher. Performance-based exclusive pendants will be granted, with rarer versions linked to better completion times.

Monster Hunter Wilds Launches Two Limited-Time Event Quests

Gameplay in Monster Hunter Wilds entails Challenge Quests that focus on time management, rewarding quicker completions with better loot. These special events come with predetermined equipment, where existing effects and Palico assistance are disabled. Typically, participants wait a week or two after the event’s conclusion to receive rewards, following the ranking finalization, as seen with Fleeting Bubbles.

The rotation of Event Quests is vital for Monster Hunter Wilds, allowing Capcom to continuously add content to engage players. The core gameplay is enjoyable but not endless. While weekly events have successfully maintained a loyal player base, attracting additional players back to Wilds may require more innovative approaches.
