IShowSpeed Makes His Comeback to Twitch After Four Years

Popular streamer IShowSpeed returns to Twitch for the first time since 2021, marking the beginning of his second European tour.

Popular YouTuber Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins is set to make his return to Twitch on July 7, streaming the kickoff of his new European tour for the first time since his suspension in 2021. IShowSpeed was banned following accusations relating to sexual intimidation during an appearance on a show hosted by Adin Ross.

Since then, IShowSpeed has focused on his YouTube presence, where he has amassed over 41.4 million subscribers. His content often includes high-energy gaming streams featuring popular titles like Fortnite and Red Dead Redemption 2, alongside personal streams in various global locations. Nonetheless, his notoriety has led to some troubling incidents; he was swatted recently while streaming from a KFC, resulting in no harm to him or his audience.

Despite not having streamed on Twitch since being unbanned in 2023, IShowSpeed will reunite with the platform at 7:00 AM ET to broadcast the second leg of his European Tour, visiting countries like France, Finland, Croatia, and Greece. The duration of this tour is yet to be confirmed but is expected to follow a similar engaging format as his previous tour in China, which garnered over 2.5 billion views in just seven sessions.

As IShowSpeed’s reach continues to grow, it will be interesting to see how his audience reacts to his comeback on Twitch.
