Uncover the mysteries, defeat the Signal, and save the world from further doom.

Metroidvanias have become a central component of the PC gaming sphere lately, largely thanks to the innovative efforts of indie developers like Today’s Games with their exciting debut title, ReSetna.

ReSetna is an action-adventure game set within a breathtaking post-apocalyptic sci-fi backdrop. The game’s title character, an advanced automaton, is awakened in this desolate world to confront the emerging threat known as the Signal.

The origins of the Signal are mysterious, representing rogue code intent on causing chaos and further destabilizing an already shattered world by corrupting robots. Initially dismissed as a mere glitch, its true danger has become alarmingly evident.

Fortunately, ReSetna is not alone in this struggle. Accompanied by the drone IXA, players receive vital support throughout their journey, accessing hidden paths and invaluable aid during intense battles. IXA’s assistance will be crucial in dodging numerous formidable bosses lurking throughout the game.

ReSetna features an impressive array of animations and moves, with weapons such as dual and single blades that influence attack speed and behavior. Movement is key in metroidvanias, and ReSetna has received ample praise for its fluid gameplay.

Players will encounter formidable bosses across seven uniquely designed zones, each with its own rich backstory. The highlighted locations include Acidia, a once-innovative corporation that created a toxic wasteland, and Polis_13, a decayed industrial area.

Accompanying the gameplay is an exciting soundtrack by Nikola Jeremic, blending organic sounds with synthetic music, enhancing the game’s narrative through each boss battle and landscape traversed.

Eager to dive into ReSetna? A demo is available for your enjoyment over on Steam, and the game is now officially released.
