GSC Silent Moves: Ads Removed in Latest Stalker Remaster Patch

GSC Game World discreetly eliminates ads from Stalker remaster menus in a recent patch, addressing fan frustrations without prior acknowledgment.

GSC Game World has made a quiet but significant move by removing the advertisements from the menus of its Stalker remaster series. This change came with patch 1.1.1, which fans noticed was implemented without any mention in the patch notes.

Previously, these ads occupied a small area in the start screens, similar to the ones seen in Bethesda’s games, which frustrated many players who felt it was an unnecessary marketing ploy in a remastered title. In light of player feedback, GSC’s decision to eliminate these ads is a welcome change. However, while this adjustment is appreciated, the patch primarily comprised minor fixes and crash reports, leading some to perceive the overall update as rather mundane.

GSC continues to maintain the Stalker series with ongoing updates and patches, demonstrating their commitment to addressing player concerns.
