NAVI has elevated Drin “makazze” Shaqiri, their outstanding 18-year-old academy player, to the main roster. The team has not yet disclosed who will be replaced by Shaqiri.
NAVI’s Announcement
NAVI has also confirmed intentions to find a buyer for the remaining members of the NAVI Junior lineup which encompasses:
- Dmytro “dem0n” Myroshnychenko
- Aulon “Krabeni” Fazlija
- Nikita “cmtry” Samolyotov
- Džiugas “dziugss” Steponavičius
- Coach András “coolio” Fercsák.
This move follows a series of disappointing performances by the original team, with notable failures including not reaching any grand finals in early 2025. With makazze’s rising star status within NAVI Junior, the organization seems hopeful about enhancing their main team’s performance.
Coach Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy recognized the complexities surrounding roster decisions, stating:
“We all play good at some point, and we all make mistakes at some point, so we’re all kind of equal. Even if we remove somebody, it won’t be something like, ‘This guy sucks and he let us down.’”
