Pokémon GO Announces Major Two-Day Event for August 2025

The upcoming GO Fest Max Finale in Pokémon GO is set to take place in late August, followed by a new featured Pokémon speculation.

Pokémon GO has officially announced its upcoming two-day event titled GO Fest 2025: Max Finale, scheduled for August 23 and 24. This event follows the recently held GO Fest: Global, which introduced Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta.

Players around the globe recently celebrated GO Fest: Global, receiving exclusive reward codes and experiencing new Adventure Effects during Raids and Max Battles. Despite the conclusion of that main event, trainers are now treated to an unexpected surprise just in time for summer.

Official announcements reveal that players should prepare for something significant, as ominous developments hint at the impending arrival of fan-favorite Pokémon Eternatus—especially with speculation about its Eternamax form joining the game.

In the promotional trailer, players witnessed Zacian and Zamazenta against an evolving storm backdrop, suggesting an exciting narrative thread that could impact gameplay in unexpected ways.

Fans eagerly anticipate new official details in the following weeks while also looking forward to the 9th Anniversary Party of Pokémon GO, which will begin on July 1 and feature unique bonuses and shiny Pokémon debuts.
