Delta Force Set for Console Launch and New Game Update

The multiplayer shooter Delta Force announces its release date for consoles and reveals a major forthcoming update.

Upcoming Delta Force Updates

The new Delta Force season titled Break is set to launch on PC and mobile on July 9, with console releases for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S scheduled for August 19. Developer TiMi Studio Group made these announcements during a livestream.

The game, which began its journey in 1998, had its last major release with Delta Force: Xtreme 2 in 2009, remaining silent until its revival by TiMi Studio in December 2024. Now a free-to-play tactical shooter, Delta Force has gained immense popularity, peaking at 162,436 players on Steam recently.

What’s New in the Update?

The Break season introduces:

  • Two new maps
  • Three new weapons
  • A new operator named Tempest, equipped with enhanced mobility and a drill for enemy disarmament.

The latest maps offer diverse gameplay experiences, including infiltrating a prison disguised as a prisoner and adapting tactics to dynamic weather changes. Notably, new swimming and diving mechanics are included, enhancing maneuverability in combat scenarios.
