The upcoming release of Donkey Kong Bananza reveals exciting features, including collectibles that allow for outfit customization and the classic DK Rap track.

Recently, Donkey Kong Bananza unveiled various hidden treasures players can discover, such as customizable outfits and the nostalgic DK Rap track. The beloved Nintendo character will be available on Switch 2 starting July 17. This game sets the stage for an expansive gameplay experience, where players can smash through numerous obstacles as DK seeks the legendary Golden Bananas alongside a younger version of Pauline.

In a recent Livestream, Nintendo showcased more details about the game’s story and mechanics. It confirmed that the Odd Rock is indeed Pauline and presented DK’s new combat abilities, which players can utilize against enemies as they traverse the diverse landscapes of the underground. There will be many reasons to explore the surroundings in Donkey Kong Bananza, as it features a plethora of collectibles that unlock exciting bonuses.

Besides collectibles, players will also find unlockable costumes and music tracks. Players can craft their unique outfits for DK and Pauline in the Closet utilizing various available garments and styles, each bringing unique benefits. The game encourages users to mix and match these outfits to discover new abilities suitable for different scenarios.

In addition, players might find maps leading them to more collectibles while navigating through the destructible environments. Locations are clearly marked on the in-game map, and a database will assist them in tracking the collectibles they have obtained. Lastly, players can unlock and listen to classic tracks like the DK Rap while taking a break in a custom-made getaway in the game. Donkey Kong Bananza is set to launch on July 17, 2025.
