Helldivers 2 Developers Plan to Resolve Stim Delay Issue
Arrowhead Game Studios is addressing a frustrating game mechanic in Helldivers 2, much to the relief of players.
A Helldivers 2 YouTuber confirms that Arrowhead Game Studios is planning a fix for a frustrating mechanic, much to the delight of the gaming community. Helldivers 2 launched in February 2024, quickly earning acclaim for its fast-paced combat and satirical humor. As the sequel to the original 2015 game, it is set in the 22nd century, where players are part of a team tasked with defending humanity against various alien threats.
Recently, Arrowhead released a new update in June, including a Commemorative Cape to honor the defense of Super Earth, alongside adjustments to gameplay elements such as Stratagems, weapons, and missions.
Moreover, YouTube content creator Cloud Plays mentioned that Arrowhead is addressing a ‘stim delay’ issue that players found particularly annoying. This follows a previous fix aimed at resolving an Autocannon reload bug. In a video, Cloud Plays highlighted the community’s concerns, capturing a response from Arrowhead’s community manager indicating that developers are already on it. Players shared their relief about the stims being addressed, with feedback reflecting their frustrations about the mechanic.
Looking ahead, potential leaks have suggested that Arrowhead may introduce a new enemy called the Observer, part of the Illuminate race, which might resemble a Watcher.
