Palworld's Upcoming Tides of Terraria Update Sparks Excitement

A key figure at Pocketpair has hinted that the anticipated Tides of Terraria update for Palworld may be on the horizon, stirring excitement among players.

One of Palworld’s key voices has made an exciting hint regarding the arrival of the Tides of Terraria update, suggesting it may be released sooner than many expect. The new content update still doesn’t have a confirmed launch date; however, Communication Director Bucky has urged players to be ready.

Palworld quickly reached success on Steam during its early access launch in January 2024. Its popularity surged initially but has since seen a reduction, maintaining between 24,000 and 31,000 players concurrently on Steam daily, alongside additional players on Xbox and PlayStation 5.

Bucky responded to streamer MightyKeef on Twitter, who hadn’t played Palworld since its early access launch but was intrigued by the new content. He stated that the Tides of Terraria update would arrive “very very very soon.” Although he mentioned the substantial updates made to the game since early 2024, this upcoming launch promises even more new content. Previously, the best estimate from Pocketpair suggested a summer 2025 arrival for this update, but Bucky’s excitement has players believing an announcement is imminent.

The Tides of Terraria update was initially announced in mid-May and will integrate elements from Re-Logic’s sandbox game Terraria. Although there hasn’t been much detailed information shared through official channels, players can look forward to new islands, additional Pals, and other content when it arrives.

Palworld has seen two significant content updates since its early access launch, with major updates like the Sakurajima and Feybreak launching in late June 2024 and December 2024, respectively. If the recent pattern continues, fans might expect the Tides of Terraria to drop before this June concludes.
