The World of Warcraft franchise officially launched its third Turbulent Timeways event, which will rotate through various Timewalking expansions every week until August 5th. Kicking off and concluding with the new Battle for Azeroth Timewalking segment, this nostalgic event lasts for seven weeks and is active in World of Warcraft right now.
The recently released Patch 11.1.7 adds a significant amount of new content including the Rise of the Red Dawn campaign, Lorewalking, and Overcharged Delves, alongside a Diablo-themed event starting July 1.
For the upcoming weeks, players can enjoy back-to-back Timewalking events, starting with Battle for Azeroth, followed by Mists of Pandaria, The Burning Crusade, Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Classic, and then returning to BFA. Completing dungeons during this timeframe grants players a Knowledge of the Timeways buff that amplifies experience gains up to 30% with four stacks. Those who maintain this buff for five out of the seven weeks will earn the Master of the Turbulent Timeways III achievement and the Chrono Corsair mount.

New to this event, the Battle for Azeroth Timewalking section will be incorporated into its regular rotation once the Turbulent Timeways concludes. Vendors in Boralus and Dazar’alor will trade new World of Warcraft rewards for Timewarped Badges, including the Moonlit Nightsaber mount, transformation toys, and more. Players can anticipate additional items from other expansions in coming weeks.
