Elliot Page's Company to Develop TV Adaptation of Beyond: Two Souls
The acclaimed video game Beyond: Two Souls will be transformed into a television series by Elliot Page's production firm, Pageboy Productions.
The increasing trend of transforming video games into television series continues as reports emerge about a new adaptation of Beyond: Two Souls being developed by Elliot Page’s production company, Pageboy Productions.
Page, who starred in the original video game, expressed his desire to deliver a unique portrayal of the characters and their arcs that resonates with both veteran fans and newcomers.
Page described the filming of the game as “one of the most challenging and fulfilling acting experiences of my career.” He emphasized that the game’s rich narrative and emotional depth provide an excellent foundation for the series. He intends to create something that will deeply resonate with audiences.
David Cage, founder of Quantic Dream, expressed excitement about collaborating with Page on this project, highlighting the strong emotional connection many players have with the story of Jodie and Aiden, the game’s protagonists.
As of now, the series is in early development, and no premiere date has been announced. This follows a shift in public perception around video game adaptations in recent years, with shows like The Witcher and The Last of Us gaining considerable acclaim.
