It’s that thrilling time in the gaming world where speculation runs rampant. Rob Wiethoff, the vocal talent behind John Marston in Red Dead Redemption, has been quite active lately. Recently, he has been playing Red Dead Redemption and sharing his experiences on Twitch while hinting at some tantalizing news.
“I can’t stand it right now,” said Wiethoff during a recent stream. “I’ve got such exciting news. I can’t share it with you right now and it’s absolutely killing me.”
(Translation: “I can’t hold this in any longer!”)
While Wiethoff played coy and didn’t spill any specifics, he mentioned he has been eagerly awaiting to share this confidentiality, especially about RDR related content. He suggests that we’ll know the news “by the end of this week… definitely before Friday [June 20].”
What could this exciting announcement entail? Perhaps a remaster of Red Dead Redemption 2 for the Nintendo Switch 2, coinciding with its recent release? Hopefully, it won’t mirror the long wait gamers endured for the GTA 5 Enhanced Edition, which took three years to hit PC.
Exciting times are ahead, whenever Wiethoff feels he can finally share the details!
