Developer Questline has rolled out a new update for the RPG Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. The game, which features strong Skyrim influences and a vast world to explore, has impressed players since its launch.
Initially released as an indirect sequel to the narrative-driven roguelike Tainted Grail: Conquest, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon officially launched its 1.0 version in May after spending over a year in early access. Set in a dark universe inspired by Arthurian legends, the game features a large open world divided into three main regions with a complex story and numerous quests. However, as is common with extensive games made by smaller teams, it launched with various bugs.
Now, the developers have introduced Patch 1.04 which brings a host of fixes targeting technical issues while adding 29 new fish and expanding fishing spots within the game’s world. Notably, they have also enhanced the loot system by incorporating Tier 4 and 5 weapons from higher-tier Unidentified Items.
This update follows a significant previous patch that focused on resolving issues, including a major bug affecting save files. Players have positively received the game, as highlighted by its 87% approval rating based on over 13,000 reviews on Steam, indicating that it has garnered a favorable reputation among the gaming community.
