A Genshin Impact chart has revealed the overall sales difference between the two currently featured five-star characters: Inazuma’s Raiden Shogun and the Saurian hunter Kinich. Genshin Impact always features two different banner cycles, each including double banners that allow players to pull for two separate five-star characters at the same time.
After Escoffier and Navia, who appeared in the first part of the update, the second banner cycle of Genshin Impact Version 5.6 featured Raiden Shogun and Kinich, with a shared four-star lineup that included Lynette, Sara, and Thoma. The Limited Character Banner is the most popular gacha banner in the game, as it’s the only one that features new playable units. Since Natlan’s arrival, each new update has featured at least one new five-star character.
A reputable stats website named Paimon.moe detailed the revenue difference, showing that Kinich accounts for about 57% of the total, while Raiden Shogun holds 43%. Though a 14% difference exists, it’s notable as many past banners displayed greater disparities. As an example, in the previous Genshin Impact event, Escoffier generated 85% of the total revenue, with Navia trailing at 15%.
Raiden Shogun is one of the older characters, introduced at the start of the Inazuma update, and continues to be regarded as one of the strongest due to her versatility across multiple team compositions, likely contributing to the close sales figures despite this being Kinich’s first re-run.
However, the sample size for the current banner is not extensive, indicating many players may have opted out. One significant factor could be the upcoming Genshin Impact updates, which promise fresh content, including the much-anticipated five-star character Skirk, confirmed for the next cycle. Moreover, HoYoverse announced Dahlia, a four-star character from Mondstadt, as Skirk’s companion in Version 5.7. With the Natlan arc nearing its conclusion, many players seem to be conserving Primogems for the significant new region revealed in future updates.
