Developer Level-5 has rolled out version 1.3.0 of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, coinciding with the introduction of the Switch 2. This title, a follow-up to Fantasy Life, originally launched in Japan in 2012 and saw its international release a couple of years later.
The new update has gained traction among fans of life simulation games, thanks in part to its innovative Lives system that offers diverse gameplay experiences.
Since its launch, Level-5 has actively implemented various major updates, including the introduction of a multiplayer feature soon after its debut. The prior patch released on May 28 addressed numerous bugs and adjusted gameplay for all platforms, significantly improving accessibility to the Weird Pad’s Encyclopedia Screen from the beginning of the first chapter.
Update Highlights
- Enhanced Lock-On Feature: Players can now automatically lock onto the nearest enemy.
- Hagram Build Adjustments: Players can manage objects more easily.
- God’s Touch Adjustments: Improved functionality for action canceling.
- Gamepad Configuration: Expanded options for control customization.
- Graphics Improvements for Switch 2: Enhanced visual quality with better shadows and rendering.
Although this update doesn’t include new playable content, Level-5 has plans for upcoming DLC, titled “Update the World!” This DLC will introduce new recipes and multiplayer gear displays, further enriching the gameplay experience.
