Bloober Team's Cronos: The New Dawn Unveils Release Date and Fresh Gameplay

Bloober Team announces the release window for their upcoming survival horror title, Cronos: The New Dawn, along with new gameplay insights from the Xbox Games Showcase.

Bloober Team has revealed that Cronos: The New Dawn is set to launch in Fall 2025. The announcement was made alongside new gameplay footage during the June 2025 Xbox Games Showcase. The trailer showcases the game’s innovative merging mechanics, which compel players to incinerate fallen monsters before they can absorb their allies, leading to even greater threats.

The narrative of “Cronos: The New Dawn” involves time travel set in a dystopian ambiance, right after a catastrophic event labeled “The Change”, which witnessed the decline of human existence. The title is a third-person survival horror adventure, distinguishing itself with its retro-futuristic design.

Bloober Team, noted for its development of the Silent Hill 2 remake, first teased “Cronos: The New Dawn” back in October 2024, aiming for a 2025 launch. The game will be accessible on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Specific pricing details remain undisclosed, and the game is not open for pre-order yet.

Summary
