Moon Knight's Ultimate Power in Marvel Rivals Revealed as a Potential Bug

Players report that Moon Knight's ultimate ability deals twice the damage intended in Marvel Rivals, sparking discussions on its impact in gameplay.

“Either the description of Moon Knight’s ult is lacking vital information, or it is bugged.”

No statement in Marvel Rivals instills dread like Moon Knight’s ultimate cry. This powerful move called Hand of Khonshu casts an area-of-effect (AoE) circle that can eliminate enemies caught within it. However, many players are claiming that the damage dealt by this ability is erroneously high. According to findings discussed by a Reddit user, its true damage output is double the listed value on the official website.

Moon Knight has become a hugely feared character in Quickplay thanks in part to this issue. The ultimate was supposed to deal 75 damage per hit, but players are experiencing a surge in damage up to 150. Those caught in the circle for even a moment are often killed outright.

During testing, it was confirmed that players face a 75-damage attack within a close radius and an additional wave of splash damage further away, contributing to the unexpected lethality.

There’s a call to NetEase to address this issue, as players want assurance that encounters with Moon Knight won’t lead to instant defeat. As users try to uncover what is behind this discrepancy, players anticipate adjustments to restore balance in the game.
