Rise of the Ronin to Launch on PC in March with Enhanced Features

The much-anticipated 'Rise of the Ronin' will finally make its way to PC on March 10, 2025, a year after its PS5 release, boasting impressive upgrades.

A year after its release on PlayStation 5, Team Ninja’s narrative set in 19th-century Japan is finally making its debut on PC.

The game, titled Rise of the Ronin, is expected to arrive on March 10, 2025 (or March 11, depending on your region), featuring several significant enhancements. As players, you will take on the role of a ronin— a samurai without a master during the Bakumatsu period, facing historical events and choices leading to various endings in an expansive open world.

Unlike traditional strategy games, this title emphasizes combat, developed by Koei Tecmo’s Team Ninja. This will allow players to employ a diverse range of melee weapons and combat styles, alongside strategic use of firearms and bows.

The PS5 version received a favorable 76/100 rating on Metacritic, and the upcoming PC version promises exclusive features such as:

  • 8K resolution support
  • DirectX 12 Ultimate compatibility
  • Ultra-wide monitor support
  • 120FPS frame rate capability
  • Ray tracing and 3D audio support
  • Customizable keyboard and mouse controls
  • AMD and NVIDIA technologies for enhanced performance
  • Mouse click functionality in UI menus

While the upgraded graphics and ray tracing are highlights, many consider the mouse clickability feature to elevate the gameplay experience.

As for system requirements, players must ensure they have:

Minimum Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT
  • Storage: Minimum of 180GB

Note: SSD is required for optimal performance.

Rise of the Ronin is currently available for pre-purchase on Steam.
