Destiny 2 Welcomes Star Wars-Inspired Skins and Armor

Bungie announces Star Wars-themed cosmetics for Destiny 2, launching with the Heresy Act 1 update.

Bungie revealed in a recent livestream that players will receive Star Wars-inspired armor and cosmetics in Destiny 2, launching alongside the Heresy Act 1 on February 4.

New Armors Available

Players will have access to three new Star Wars themed skins:

  • Hunters will don black armor reminiscent of the elite Death Troopers.
  • Warlocks can suit up in radiant red attire resembling the Royal Guards.
  • Titans will take on the classic Stormtrooper look, complete with a humorous intrinsic perk impacting accuracy.

During the livestream, Andy Salisbury mentioned other items coming with the update, including a sparrow, a ship, emotes, and a finisher. While the new skins might seem like a stretch for a serious game, they undeniably add a fun twist to the Destiny 2 experience. As more collaborations arise, players express mixed feelings regarding the influx of brand integrations.
