Glorious has rolled out its new entry-level gaming mouse, the Model O Eternal, globally, yet it’s absent from the US market. The purported reason for this unusual move is the continuation of global supply chain challenges.
The nature of these challenges raises questions, particularly how they exclusively affect distribution to one country. Speculations abound that tariff uncertainties may be a factor, preventing Glorious, based in Texas, from expressing any potential issues openly.
The Model O Eternal boasts a design echoing the famous Model O V1, complete with advanced technology and amplified RGB lighting at an accessible price. It includes features such as:
- A lightweight design of just 55 grams, making it 20% lighter than its predecessor and 35% lighter compared to competitors.
- Dazzling RGB lighting, offering up to 16.8 million color options.
- New mechanical switches designed for 80 million clicks and an optical sensor with a DPI tracking sensitivity of 12,000.
- A 1000Hz polling rate and six programmable buttons.
- A length of two meters for the USB cable.
The Model O Eternal will be available in black and white for $39.99 in the US and €34.99 in Europe. While its launch in the US is planned for late Q3 (around September), a review of the mouse is in the pipeline, ensuring plenty of coverage once it arrives.
