Creator of Nidhogg Launches Open-World Cycling Game Wheel World

As revealed at the PC Gaming Show 2025, Messhof’s upcoming title, Wheel World, is set to transform your gaming experience by allowing you to cycle through a richly designed universe. This game, launching on July 23, enables players to cruise through captivating environments inspired by the artistic style of Moebius, blending adventure and creativity.

Your character, Kat, aims to restore their bike by retrieving Legendary components taken by a mysterious character—a unicyclist, perhaps? With vast landscapes stretching from serene fields to futuristic cities reminiscent of Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City, players will find plenty to discover.

The game also boasts a customization system that allows transforming your bike into imaginative designs, like a giant hot dog. Players can challenge fellow cyclists to races, adding an engaging competitive edge.

There’s a demo available on Steam that offers a glimpse into the start of this vibrant world, including unique racing challenges and a peculiar Portaloo fast-travel system.
