Gecko Gods has launched its first playable demo as part of the Wholesome Direct and shared an exciting new trailer. Having followed this game’s development since 2021, I’m ecstatic about the news.
After a prolonged silence regarding updates, my anticipation rises, especially since the game has not been abandoned. Now, we have a targeted launch window set for Fall 2025, allowing fans to finally count the days until they can dive into the vibrant world as a gecko.
The featured trailer showcased detailed gameplay, including platforming and puzzle-solving elements, in a beautiful world where players will guide their gecko to sail on a small boat through various portals, unlocking new places to explore. The premise is whimsical: how does a gecko manage the sails? I’m intrigued!
