Summary
- Barbie Project Friendship is set to launch on Xbox Game Pass on June 11.
- It will feature local co-op gameplay, including mini-games reminiscent of Overcooked.
- Xbox Game Pass continues to grow with additional exciting titles this month.
One of the highly anticipated games soon to be added to Xbox Game Pass is Barbie Project Friendship. As an enthusiast of local co-op games, I’m genuinely looking forward to trying it out. Xbox Game Pass has seen a fantastic array of high-quality games this year, with an impressive schedule of new releases.
This June, several titles have already been added, including Crypt Custodian, Symphonia, and remastered versions of the first two Baldur’s Gate games. More exciting new games are on the horizon, with the remaster of Space Marine 1 coming on June 10 and Barbie Project Friendship available on June 11 across Ultimate, PC, and Standard tiers.
In Barbie Project Friendship, players will step into the shoes of two Barbies tasked with saving the Malibu Waves Community Center through completing various quests and mini-games. Screenshots reveal that a tennis mini-game and a pet salon mini-game—similar to an Overcooked-style experience—will be features. While it may lack depth, it promises a fun local co-op adventure on Xbox Game Pass.
