In Railborn, a cooperative survival game, players are challenged to craft a highly unconventional mobile train base set on a distant planet 350 light-years from Earth. Created by Washbear Studio, known for the dinosaur management sim Parkasaurus, this title was unveiled at the PC Gaming Show 2025.

Starting with minimal resources, players will initially construct a basic handcar, eventually transforming it into a more complex train. As you journey along the tracks, gather supplies for survival, such as food and water, and begin crafting components necessary for progression.

Expect intriguing train cars filled with unique biomes; from greenhouses flourishing with unusual flora to dark cavern-like compartments replete with mysterious fungi. The game’s building system seems flexible, allowing players to design their trains without strict limitations, promoting creativity. Up to four players can share this adventure, making it a social experience.

Railborn is slated for release in 2026, but its eccentric premise is already capturing gamers’ attention.
