Forever Skies was one of the intriguing early access survival games available on Steam, which proposed an exciting concept akin to Subnautica, albeit set in the skies. Players are given the ability to build and pilot their own airships, drawing immediate interest. However, its recent release didn’t land as expected, currently holding a ‘Mixed’ rating, with gamers voicing concerns about repetitive gameplay and a lack of engaging content.
In an update, the developers at Far From Home have stated their commitment to addressing these issues, acknowledging that many players felt let down by the game. CEO Andrzej Blumenfeld expressed disappointment in the feedback but reassured players that the team is dedicated to improving the game. He stated: “It’s tough to see that the game didn’t meet the expectations of so many players since we poured our hearts into it, and still it fell short in ways that matter.”
The studio plans to enhance the game’s elements and has identified crucial areas for improvement, including technical performance and gameplay mechanics. They are also open to ongoing discussions with the gaming community to gather more feedback, highlighting their commitment to catering to player needs.
