Underappreciated Survival Game 'Abiotic Factor' Set to Exit Early Access with Exciting Updates
The final chapter of 'Abiotic Factor' will launch this summer, introducing new features like customizable office spaces and spooky areas.
The concluding chapter of the early access game Abiotic Factor is scheduled to be launched this summer.
New features will be introduced, including buildable office cubicles and a chilling library. The final update called Cold Fusion will reveal a new area known as the Residence Sector, inspired by the beloved Half-Life series.
The developers, Deep Field Games, have communicated that Cold Fusion will represent the official 1.0 launch of the game. As part of this update, players can experience a new structure called The Praetorium, which features an eerie archive space inhabited by mysterious entities labeled “Clericum.” This update reflects the positive feedback from earlier game elements.
Additional features include:
- Craftable Decontamination Unit: Named the R.A.I.N. shower, designed to wash off substances collected during gameplay.
- Taco Mine: A taco stall located within the Residence Sector, suggesting unique in-game interactions.
- New Storage Options: This includes compact crates and a void chest enabling access to a pocket dimension for storage.
While a precise release date for the update is still pending, it is anticipated soon since summer is fast approaching. Furthermore, the team is already teasing a potential 1.1 update for later in 2025.
