Elden Ring Nightreign may have had a rocky start with mostly mixed reviews, but it has quickly climbed back up with a major update that improved its overall rating to Mostly Positive. To celebrate, FromSoftware announced that 3.5 million copies of Nightreign have been sold just five days post-launch.
“On the dawn of the fifth day, 3.5 million Nightfarers took up arms against the Night in #ELDENRING #NIGHTREIGN. We are ever grateful for your passion.”
This significant sales figure follows a strong opening where 2 million players bought and played Nightreign within the first 24 hours and it peaked at over 300,000 concurrent players on launch day. However, of the 3.5 million players, a mere 7.5% have managed to defeat all of the Nightlords.
Defeating these bosses is no easy feat; while some, like Maris, Fathom of Night, could be considered more manageable, most Nightlords offer a significant challenge.
As gameplay continues to evolve and more players join, success rates for overcoming these formidable bosses are expected to rise. Whether FromSoftware decides to adjust the difficulty balance remains a point of speculation.
