
It’s Hammer Time!
Recently, the hammer wielders of Monster Hunter Wilds received some much-needed attention in the latest patch. Initially underwhelming, the hammer weapon is due for some significant upgrades, benefitting enthusiasts of the ‘bonk’ playstyle.
Key Changes in the Update:
- Overall attack power has been enhanced.
- Element scaling for Charge Shot and Overhead Smash has seen improvements.
- Players can now evade while preparing an Upswing attack.
- The responsiveness of the actions during charging has been optimized, allowing for smoother sliding attacks.
- Hitboxes for both Upswing and sneak attacks have been expanded.
- The execution timing for Focus Blow: Earthquake has been adjusted to activate slightly earlier.
Additionally, selecting items from the Custom Radial Menu will now seamlessly add them to the item box without interrupting gameplay.
