Samsung's OLED TVs to Support Nvidia G-Sync: A Game-Changer for PC Gamers

Samsung announces the upcoming support for Nvidia G-Sync in its 2025 OLED TVs, allowing seamless gaming on larger screens.

Samsung has stepped into the arena of Nvidia G-Sync compatibility with its upcoming 2025 OLED TVs. This means PC gamers can hook up their gaming rigs to these TVs for a more seamless experience. The announcement coincides with the buzz from Computex 2025, although it seems Samsung’s timing is coincidental rather than a direct reveal at the event.

The new OLED TVs will allow their refresh rate to match that of Nvidia graphics cards, providing smoother visuals during gameplay. While the RTX 5090 users will enjoy this new feature, it’s noteworthy that Samsung’s current models won’t receive G-Sync support—only those released in 2025 and beyond will.

These updates come with additional features such as Motion Xcelerator for enhanced refresh rates, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which aims to prevent screen tearing during gaming sessions. However, this announcement does not imply support for G-Sync Ultimate, which requires specific Nvidia hardware for optimal performance.

For PC gamers looking for larger display options, Samsung’s new direction could mean exciting times ahead as they improve compatibility features.
