Gigabyte Introduces Enhanced X3D Turbo Mode for Ryzen CPUs

Gigabyte has launched a new BIOS feature called X3D Turbo Mode 2, offering substantial performance boosts for Ryzen X3D CPUs.

Gigabyte has just revealed an upgraded version of its BIOS feature known as X3D Turbo Mode, which enhances performance for Ryzen X3D CPUs. This new iteration promises a boost of up to 15%, achievable with a single click in the motherboard settings.

At Computex 2025, the company unveiled the improved feature along with several new motherboard models. The original X3D Turbo Mode had already allowed users to fine-tune their CPU settings for greater efficiency; however, Turbo Mode 2 introduces a smarter algorithm that optimizes power delivery and clock speeds, in addition to limiting the threads utilized by the CPU.

During the announcement, Gigabyte highlighted significant performance improvements in games such as Cyberpunk 2077, claiming that it can run 15% faster under the new settings compared to standard configurations. The exact specifications used for this benchmark test remain unclear, leaving some room for skepticism about the performance claims.
