Wizkids Issues Full Refunds for Disappointing Baldur's Gate 3 Miniatures

Wizkids recently faced backlash after the release of pre-painted miniatures for Baldur’s Gate 3, as they did not meet customer expectations. The company has publicly apologized and announced they will issue full refunds for the D&D Icons of the Realms: Baldur’s Gate 3 Character Boxed Set.

In an official statement, they expressed, “We missed the mark… If you purchased this set through our online stores, we will be offering a full refund to those who are unsatisfied with their set.” For purchases made through retailers, customers can return their items for a refund.

The company acknowledged the disappointment caused by the quality of the miniatures, which some referred to as having “faces only a Mindflayer could love.” Despite the challenges, Wizkids assured customers that they are working to rectify the situation and ensure better quality in future releases.
