The excitement surrounding GTA 6 remains palpable; a recent trailer amassed 475 million views within 24 hours of its release, setting a new record. However, with such high expectations from fans, Zelnick believes it is wise to take additional time in order to polish the game to perfection, noting, “The delay itself is really a reflection of the desire to polish and create the best possible experience for consumers.”
Interestingly, Zelnick admits that he doesn’t play video games, taking a stance that leads him to focus on guiding his team rather than being directly involved in consumer feedback.
