Asus Unveils the World’s First 610 Hz Gaming Monitor

Asus reveals an unprecedented gaming monitor with a 610 Hz refresh rate, featuring a new 'Super TN' panel designed for serious gamers.

Unprecedented Refresh Rate

Asus has introduced a 610 Hz refresh rate monitor, showcasing its innovation at Computex 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan. The ROG Strix Ace XG248QSG is a 24.1-inch Full HD monitor that operates at this remarkable speed in overclocking mode, delivering a swift 0.1 ms response time and input lag as low as 0.8 milliseconds.

While most monitors are shifting towards better color accuracy and viewing angles, this device targets professional gamers seeking ultimate speed. Asus claims its new ‘Super TN’ panel technology enhances the traditional TN panel, promising improved visual quality without sacrificing performance.

Asus has not yet disclosed the pricing for this high-performance monitor, but it is expected to be on the higher end of the market.

“The response seemed decent from the UFO test, but it had some obvious yellowing to the white colors as far as I could tell,” reported Jacob, a witness at the show.

This technological advancement may pave the way for even higher refresh rates in gaming monitors in the coming years.
