GSC Game World has announced a thrilling update: all three original Stalker games are being completely remade and optimized for modern systems, and will be available for free to current owners starting May 20.

This remaster is being dubbed the Stalker Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition. Players can expect significant upgrades including new lighting, textures, reflections, and 4K cinematics, with support for modding and controller compatibility on all platforms.

In addition to aesthetic improvements, this edition aims to facilitate a smoother gameplay experience on the Steam Deck as well.
