G2’s challenging path in the tournament continues as they secure a victory over M80 with a score of 2-1, advancing in the PGL Astana 2025.

M80 faced elimination in last place after struggling against tough competitors, including Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro.

Their encounter with G2 began with promise, but a missed chance cost them dearly in the first map, Dust2. M80, after a strong start in their offense, failed to capitalize on their lead and lost a crucial round that allowed G2 to seize control.

Although M80 secured a win on Ancient largely driven by an impressive performance from Elias ‘s1n’ Stein, they could not find their footing on Inferno, ultimately leading to their defeat.

“An absolute horror show for us,” - Rory Jackson lamented post-match. “We need to improve before the Major.”

M80’s exit marks the end of their tournament journey as they prepare to participate in the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major, starting June 7.
