StarLadder has officially announced its return to hosting Major tournaments starting with the upcoming StarLadder Budapest Major in Hungary. This event is set to occur from November 24 to December 14, 2025, and will feature 32 teams across four distinct stages, following the latest expansion of the tournament format.

The CEO of StarLadder, Roman Romantsov, stated:

Tickets are already available, with prices ranging between €10 to €120, depending on the stage of the event. The initial stages, taking place at the MTK Sportpark, will accommodate up to 2,000 spectators, while the playoffs will move to the MVM Dome, which can host 20,000 fans.
The confirmed dates for the different stages are as follows:
- Stage 1 (MTK Sportpark) - November 24-27
- Stage 2 (MTK Sportpark) - November 29 - December 2
- Stage 3 (MTK Sportpark) - December 4-7
- Playoffs (MVM Dome) - December 11-14
StarLadder’s return is especially significant as it hosts its first Major since 2019, greatly impacted by the pandemic and ongoing geopolitical conflicts in Ukraine. They also plan to conduct further tournaments in the coming years, marking a significant revival in their operations.
