The game 'Silksong' will be playable at an Australian museum in September 2025, without a specific release date for its full launch.

Major Update on Silksong

Big news—Silksong now has an official release date… for a museum exhibit. It will be playable at the Australian Museum of Screen Culture starting September 18, 2025. This upcoming showcase is highly anticipated, but sadly, we still don’t have a specific date for the full game release.

IGN confirmed these details with the curators, highlighting that the exhibit will include areas of deep exploration into the game’s design and animations.

“Since Hollow Knight: Silksong’s initial announcement in 2019, it has been one of the most anticipated indie games on the planet, and we are thrilled to celebrate the design of this South Australian-made game as a centerpiece of Game Worlds in September.”
